After two years of remote work, Norface GOVERNANCE is planning to hold its first mid-term Conference on September 22-24 at the University of Vienna, Austria.
The conference will be open for all GOVERNANCE program members (PIs and team members) and it will be the first time that all 14 Governance research consortiums get together to talk about their research progress.
To plan thematic panels at the conference, we are making a call for abstracts.
The projects will have the opportunity to present preliminary findings, and offer each other feedback for the remainder of their projects. The conference will be held under current Covid-19 restrictions and it is free of charge.
The conference will also host other relevant stakeholders from science and politics.
Conference program structure:
September 22: Evening Welcome Reception
September 23: Keynote Speech(es), Panels, Conference Dinner
September 24: Panels (closing around lunchtime)
Submission Guidelines:
To plan thematic panels at the conference that encourage knowledge exchange between different consortia, we invite your submissions in the form of 250-300 words abstracts. Abstracts may concern planned, ongoing, or finished work (single- or co-authored). Submissions should include author names and affiliations, as well as the acronym of their NORFACE Governance consortium. Authors may submit multiple abstracts. Please submit your abstracts via mail to spc@norface-governance.eu by May 15, 2022, 23:59 CET. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by June 15. More information on travel booking and accommodation to follow.
