Join us for the Norface GOVERNANCE Final Conference, where we delve into the challenges facing democratic politics and governance in Europe amidst turbulent times. Our 14 international research projects funded through the NORFACE GOVERNANCE programme offer unique academic insights on party system transformations, citizen attachments to government, political parties, and democratic procedures.

Key Themes:

  • Polarization
  • Disinformation
  • Decreasing trust in institutions
  • Dwindling political participation

During the three-day conference, all fourteen research projects will present their results and future research plans, providing valuable insights into the present and future of democratic governance.

Conference Program Structure:

  • Day 1 (Feb 14): Welcome, Keynote Speeches, Panels, and Evening Reception
  • Day 2 (Feb 15): Panels, Conference Dinner
  • Day 3 (Feb 16): Panels until lunchtime
